Artwork Acquisition

You have just started you new job as an assistant curator at a new gallery, the New Jersey State Gallery.  The head curator has given you the job of acquiring new artworks for the gallery.  He has given you three days, a list of artists, and a budget of $50,000.  The problem is, you fluffed up your resume and don't even know where to start!  It's time to take a crash course in deciphering art labels, researching artworks and their going prices, working with a budget, and acquiring these artworks.  Click the Introduction link in the navigation bar above for an overview of your project.
